Merry Legs is a 12 year old, 13.1 hand (permanent card), Welsh/Connemara mare. She is a great pony that any child can ride a real confidence booster. She is as safe and honest as they come and extremely versatile. Merry Legs has taken two children through their C1’s in Pony Club ( 3 foot fences ) and has evented successfully through beginner novice. She has also shown successfully on the A and B hunter/jumper circuit, both here and in Canada. She pins consistently in the top ribbons over fences and is unbeaten on the flat. Her lead changes are perfect and she has enough stride and jump to do both the children’s pony and the medium pony classes. At a recent A rated show, my daughter showed her in an open class against horses. She pinned eighth out of 48 other horses. Merry Legs has excellent ground manners, is good for the vet and farrier, clips loads, bathes, and trailers with no problems. She has no vice and has great feet (no shoes needed) She is a perfect first pony that can take any child from short stirrup to the pony hunters. You won’t find a more loveable, talented pony.
